Bayshore HealthCare celebrates Best Practice Spotlight Organization designation
Bayshore HealthCare has achieved the designation of Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO), presented by the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO). To earn this recognition, Bayshore met rigorous requirements over the past three years, including implementation of RNAO best practice guidelines, led by Anna Cooper, Clinical Practice Leader/BPSO® Lead, and Joanne Vezina, Quality & Risk Program Manager and Privacy Officer.
“The BPSO initiatives align with Bayshore’s core values and guidelines of offering the highest standards of quality service and care to our thousands of clients,” says Holly Quinn, Chief Nursing Officer.
Many Bayshore nurses shared their thoughts on the achievement. Here is just one example: “It makes me proud to work for Bayshore! I feel like I belong to a strong organization that looks to develop best practice within their employees, thus providing best practice to their clients.”
Bayshore received its BPSO award at an April event, followed by a company-wide celebration during Nursing Week in May.
