Bayshore honoured with fourth consecutive Platinum Club member status with Canada’s Best Managed Companies program
Ten consecutive years as a Best Managed company

Mississauga, ON – March 9, 2016 – Bayshore HealthCare is pleased to announce that for the tenth consecutive year, it has been named to Canada’s Best Managed Companies list and achieved Platinum status – the highest designation – for the fourth consecutive year. The Best Managed program recognizes Canadian-owned and managed companies for their demonstration of strategy, capability and commitment to achieving sustainable growth.

“Best Managed companies embrace innovation, seize opportunities and inspire talent. They really set the bar high,” said Peter Brown, Partner, Deloitte and Co-Leader, Canada’s Best Managed Companies program.

Bayshore’s business model and planning process continue to remain strong year over year. Its branch network of over 60 offices and 40 clinics are effectively led and managed at the local level. This decentralized management approach encourages local and autonomous decision-making and individual accountability and risk taking.

“The real key to our success is the many hard working employees who, from coast to coast, demonstrate a caring and compassionate attitude and whose goal is to make a real difference in the lives of people we serve,” said Stuart Cottrelle, President of Bayshore HealthCare. “I am proud to say that this has been our collective goal for the past 50 years.”

Applicants to the Best Managed program are evaluated by an independent judging panel on overall business performance, including leadership, strategy, core competencies and cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization.

About Canada’s Best Managed Companies
Canada’s Best Managed Companies continues to be the mark of excellence for Canadian-owned and managed companies with revenues over $10 million.
