Bayshore Home Health Awarded Contract from Capital District Health Authority in HalifaxHalifax, NS, August 19, 2008–Bayshore Home Health, Canada’s largest provider of home and community health care services, has been awarded a four-year, $29-million staffing contract by the Capital District Health Authority (CDHA) in Halifax. Bayshore will provide Capital Health with registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient attendants, unit aides, unit clerks, personal care workers and continuing care assistants for eight hospitals when external staffing resources are required. The CDHA is the largest of nine health districts in Nova Scotia. It provides health services to over 40 per cent of the population of Nova Scotia. Madeleine Clancy was recently appointed as the office administrator responsible for managing the CDHA contract. She has worked for the past 12 years in the health care industry, most recently as manager of a medical staffing company. Madeleine also has extensive experience in recruitment of both professional and para-professional staff to work in acute and long-term care facilities.
