Belleville, Ontario, June 16, 2009 –Bayshore Home Health, Canada’s largest provider of home and community health care services, announced today the opening of a new office in Belleville. Bayshore has been serving the local community for 11 years through its Brockville location. The new office will give the company a presence throughout Hastings, Prince Edward, Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington counties, allowing it to build stronger relationships with clients and ultimately provide a higher level of service.
"With a growing and aging population, there is an increasing need for home care services, yet many people don’t understand the kind of services that home health care provides or that they have options beyond institutional care,” says Anita Fitches, area director for the office. “It’s the goal of our new office to make people more aware of home health care and Bayshore’s ability to bring professional services and individualized care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.”
Bayshore Home Health will focus on providing service directly to the public and to people receiving care through insurance providers and workers’ compensation boards. There’s a need in the community for an increased health presence given a shortage of family doctors in the area.
The new office, centrally located at 81 Millennium Parkway, will operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week and provide a wide range of personalized home care services including:
A free Wellness Clinic will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd from noon to 7:00 pm at the new office located at 81 Millennium Parkway in Belleville. Members of the community are invited to attend.
