Bayshore Home Health opens newest office in Oakville, Ontario

Oakville, Ontario, August 14, 2006 – Bayshore Home Health, Canada's largest provider of home and community health care services, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest office, in Oakville, Ontario.

The office is situated in an attractive new retail location in the historic village of Bronte, so that it can be a visible health care resource to local residents and seniors, as well as better integrate itself within the local community.

“Many people do not know that home care is a viable option to institutional care or being cared for by family members,” explains Luanne Long, Area Director of the Oakville office. “In addition to delivering a wide range of in-home care services, our role within the community also will be to inform and educate people about their care options.”

The office’s area of service coverage comprises the entire Region of Halton, including the communities of Oakville, Burlington and Milton.

“We have been providing services to people in these areas through our Hamilton and Mississauga offices for many years,” says Bayshore’s President Stuart Cottrelle, “With the opening of our Oakville office, we will be able to enhance our levels of responsiveness and play a more active role as a vital community resource.”

The Oakville office can also provide temporary staffing of health care professionals to area hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and retirement residences.
