Brantford and Cambridge residents benefit from new Bayshore Home Health partnership

Mississauga, ON, Sept. 24, 2010 – Canamera Home Health Care + customers who purchase myNurse and home care services from Bayshore Home Health are now receiving rebates of up to $100 on mobility and home health care products.

myNurse is a new health management program that lets people arrange monthly or quarterly home visits by a registered nurse who provides in-home health and wellness consultations, monitoring, planning and education. The service is a way to prolong independent living among seniors, especially those with chronic health conditions. It can also be used by people of all ages who have health conditions that must be closely monitored, mobility issues which make it difficult to visit their family doctor, or who are among the more than four million Canadians without a family doctor.

Canamera provides mobility and health care products for rent or purchase through retail locations in Brantford and Cambridge, Ontario. Products available for purchase and/or rental include:

• Scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and other mobility products
• Compression garments, lymphedema and incontinence products
• Orthopedic support devices and braces
• Breast pump supplies, diabetic products and home rehabilitation equipment
• Gloves, gauze, first aid and other medical supplies

Canamera staff work directly with a network of orthopedic surgeons, family physicians, physiotherapists, athletic therapists, chiropodists, naturopathic doctors and other health care professionals to ensure that clients' needs are met.

Marie).
