Bayshore president Stuart Cottrelle nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year AwardMississauga, Ontario, July 24, 2007—Bayshore Home Health president and founder, Stuart Cottrelle, has been nominated for the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. “When the foundation for Bayshore Home Health was laid 14 years ago, it was difficult to envision the tremendous growth and success our organization has had.” Cottrelle says. Our success has come not so much from what I’ve personally done, but more from the fact we’ve been able to attract good management and people.” Cottrelle started Bayshore Home Health’s operations in 1993 and has more than 20 years experience in the home health care industry. He is a founding member of the Canadian Home Care Association and currently sits on the Board of the Ontario Home Care Association. He is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at The University of Western Ontario. A total of 50 business people from Ontario have been nominated for the Ontario region. The winner of the provincial award will move on as one of five regional finalists for the national award and ultimately compete with 40 country recipients of the award for the title of Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year. “As innovators, risk takers and leaders, entrepreneurs across this province have shown us time and time again that they can do extraordinary things,” says Dan Cornacchia, director of the Ernst The Entrepreneur of the Year awards have been presented by Ernst & Young for the past 14 years.
