Duties and Responsibilities

The specialty pharma nurse under the direction of the immediate Supervisor, establishes, monitors and delivers nursing care to clients at the clinic or in their home or facility, as directed by the nursing care plan. The specialty pharma nurse ensures that their client’s emotional, physical comfort and safety are of their top priority and in accordance with company policies and procedures and Standards of Nursing Practice. The specialty pharma nurse follows all required internal and external professional practice standards.


  • At least two years of recent experience, preferably in a community setting; new grads may be considered for hire on an individual basis


  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current registration with the provincial licensing body; a Bachelor of Nursing from an accredited school is preferred
  • Valid CPR certification is obligatory
  • Have either a reliable mode of transportation (bus, train, etc) OR a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for commuting
  • A clear police criminal record and able to get a Vulnerable Sector Screening if required
