Give your friends an opportunity to start their healthcare career as a community health worker with Bayshore. Refer a friend December 15, 2022 to February 15, 2023 and each of you are eligible to receive $500!*

*Terms and Conditions

• Individuals who currently hold a Personal Support Worker certificate or are currently enrolled in a Personal Support Worker training program cannot be referred to the Community Health Worker Program as they are not eligible to participate.
• The program is open to current Bayshore employees who refer a candidate who is successfully hired by Bayshore into the Community Health Worker Program.
• There is no limit to the number of individuals that a participant can refer.
• Referred candidate must apply online to the Community Health Worker Program job opportunity.
• Only one (1) Bayshore employee can be listed as the referring employee to the Community Health Worker Program job opportunity. Indicating multiple Bayshore employees as referral sources void eligibility to participate in the program.
• There is no guarantee that the individuals referred will be hired by Bayshore. Referred individuals must still meet Bayshore hiring criteria.
• Depending on the capacity (full-time/part-time/casual) and job category hired for, the referred employee must work 200 hours before payment is made to the referring Bayshore employee.
• Training hours are not counted as worked hours by the referred employee.
• Bonus to be paid in two increments: 1) after training has been completed; 2) after 200 hours have been worked.
• Referral payments are taxable and subject to withholding deductions.
• Referral payments will only be paid on referrals of individuals who have never worked for Bayshore in the past.
