National Holiday Contest for Bayshore’s Caregivers
It’s that time of year again: the gift-giving season is upon us. While embracing the holiday spirit, this December we decided to celebrate our caregivers for their exceptional dedication to continued quality care, service and the overall well-being of our Bayshore clients. Through our national holiday contest, our caregivers were given a chance to win 1 of 3 amazing prizes. Three lucky winners were awarded with enough AIR MILES® reward miles to take a break – or a trip – with their immediate family to visit their loved ones over the holidays.
We’d like to congratulate the three exceptional winners of our holiday contest and provide some information about them below.
Meet Hannah: Hailing from the East coast in our New Brunswick location, Hanna Dupuis has been with Bayshore since 2008. When asked how she felt about winning, Hannah stated, “On behalf of myself, my son Aiden and my boyfriend Dave, I would like to say that I am so very fortunate to be working for a company like Bayshore.” When asked how she intends on spending her newly awarded miles, Hannah hopes to use her miles to purchase some furniture and also to go see the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie.
Meet Katharine: Katharine Davis, a PSW from Timmins, Ontario, is another valued team member that works countless hours to help her branch location when they’re in a bind. Katharine strives to enthusiastically learn all aspects of the business, while also demonstrating high standards and positivity wherever she goes. As a sign of her dedication to her job, Katharine is so busy helping others that the Bayshore team had to surprise her on the job with balloons, flowers and the certificate. It was a great way to show Katharine – and our clients – how much we admire our staff!
Meet Rohini: Having only been with Bayshore for three short years, Rohini Maclean has made a lasting impression through her hard work and dedication while working out of our Calgary Government branch. To demonstrate their appreciation for Rohini, her branch threw her a surprise party – complete with festive decorations – to award her with this deserving prize. Here’s what she said after winning her prize: “I just love what I do so much and just want to help others. I have not been on a vacation in a very long time. This really means so very much to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Wondering how she’ll use the miles? She intends on going on a trip to Jamaica with her newly awarded AIR MILES® reward miles.
