The Neurological Rehabilitation Institute of Ontario named ‘Rehab Company of the Year’ by Ontario Brain Injury Association

MISSISSAUGA, ON (October 25, 2017) — The Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) has recognized the accomplishments of the Neurological Rehabilitation Institute of Ontario (NRIO) by naming it the ‘Rehab Company of the Year.’ NRIO is a division of Bayshore Therapy & Rehab.

NRIO was formally recognized with the annual honour by the Ontario Brain Injury Association at an event in Toronto on September 28, 2017.

In making the announcement, OBIA Executive Director, Ruth Wilcock, said “NRIO is a company that genuinely cares about its clients and is invested in providing exemplary care and rehabilitation for those living with acquired brain injury. NRIO not only provides quality care to its clients but also gives back to community associations who support people living with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). It is because this commitment to excellence and community involvement that OBIA was pleased to present the 2017 Award of Excellence for Rehabilitation Company of the Year to NRIO.”

Accepting the award on behalf of NRIO’s (number) employees was Director, Colleen Boyce. “This is well-earned recognition of our dedicated and compassionate teams of therapists, consultants and managers right across the province,” said Boyce. “Each year we conduct a customer satisfaction survey and the results are consistently high, between 95.4 per cent and 97.9 per cent satisfaction, because our people always go above and beyond in providing caring support and guidance for our clients.”
