Bayshore Celebrates Grand Opening of Community Nursing Clinic Serving Wasaga Beach
By: Simon Campbell, Specialist, Communications
Bayshore Home Care Solutions celebrated the official opening of its new Community Nursing Clinic in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, on July 29, marking another important milestone in our partnership with Ontario Health atHome. The clinic is Bayshore’s fourth Community Nursing Clinic serving the North Simcoe Muskoka region and reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional care closer to home for patients and communities.
The new clinic expands access to referral-based community nursing services for patients across Wasaga Beach, South Georgian Bay and the North Simcoe Muskoka region. Services include wound care, intravenous (IV) therapy, catheter care, diabetes management, ostomy care and access to specialized wound care expertise.
The opening was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by leaders from Bayshore Healthcare and our partner, Ontario Health atHome. Representatives from Collingwood General and Marine Hospital also attended the event in support of this important addition to the region’s healthcare network, alongside members of the local care teams.
“This clinic represents another step forward in ensuring patients can receive the care they need closer to home,” said Anita Fitches, Executive Managing Director, Bayshore Healthcare. “We’re proud to partner with Ontario Health atHome to deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing services that support healthier communities.”
The Wasaga Beach clinic is supported by Bayshore’s experienced local leadership team and operates within our nationally recognized clinical and quality framework. Patients will benefit from evidence-based care, advanced technology, dedicated clinical expertise and the compassionate service that Bayshore teams provide every day.
Thank you to everyone whose hard work and collaboration helped bring this clinic to life—from our operations, clinical and implementation teams to our partners at Ontario Health atHome. We also appreciate the support of our local healthcare colleagues, including those from Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, who joined us to celebrate this milestone.
Together, we’re improving access to care and strengthening the health of the communities we serve.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this exciting achievement!
