MISSISSAUGA, On (November 11, 2020) – Bayshore Specialty Rx, a division of Bayshore HealthCare is proud to announce that Accreditation Canada has granted the Accreditation Primer Award to Bayshore’s new infusion clinics in Quebec.  The Accreditation Primer program involves an evaluation of the policies and practices that contribute to high-quality, safe, and effectively-managed care.

Following a comprehensive self-assessment, external peer surveyors conducted an onsite survey between October 19, 2020 to October 21, 2020 where they assessed the infusion clinics against Accreditation Canada Primer – Service Excellence standards.  Impressively, Bayshore met 98.8% of the standards.

Accreditation Canada is an independent, not-for-profit affiliate of the Health Standards Organizations and has been accrediting organizations in Canada and internationally since 1958. Their programs focus on quality of care, safety, efficiency and continuous improvement. Accreditation Canada is accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua).

“The Accreditation Primer Award acknowledges our commitment to high quality person and family centered care and services,” says Maureen Charlebois Chief Nursing and Clinical Officer with Bayshore HealthCare. “Our highly-skilled nurses, physicians and administrators have created a culture of quality, safety and service excellence.  We are especially honored that we were able to achieve this award in the midst of a challenging and demanding pandemic. They truly are our heroes.”
