Digital Innovation

The Bayshore Digital Innovation Hub, was created to provide Bayshore clients, patients and their families with better access to home care health services. Products and services created by the Digital Innovation Hub team allow clients to stay in their own homes and receive the health care they need virtually.

The innovation team applied design thinking to work with clients and their families to co-design and develop a private “digital front door”​. This enables clients and their families to engage with their case managers, nurse practitioners, doctors and healthcare specialists through an integrated omnichannel network to receive the best possible care, especially during COVID-19 when many other options are limited for safety reasons.

Our goal is to provide our clients and their families with the flexibility to choose services and technologies that meet their home care needs and help them feel safe, connected and with options for the best health and home care possible.

Bayshore clients can receive home care products and services via the Digital Innovation Hub on the platform of their choice whether it’s using their smartphones, tablets, computers or in-person. They also have the choice to receive information however they want whether it’s on their mobile devices, Web, email or in print.

Today, the Bayshore Digital Innovation Hub encompasses:

  • MyBayshoreCare – a secure online portal for clients to connect and engage with their Bayshore care team to manage their home care schedule, add new appointments or new services, and pay for services online
  • Bayshore Wave – a virtual care platform where clients can receive services from their Bayshore care team (nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapists) in a safe and seamless way.
  • One Bayshore – an employee engagement portal encouraging recognition and communications among Bayshore staff.
