As an approved provider for the Client Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) program, Bayshore empowers you to choose the care that is right for you! Through Bayshore, you can hire private healthcare workers for personal care, home support, and respite care. We manage everything from service delivery, submitting invoices and working with Blue Cross, so you don’t have to.

Convenient Direct Billing:

We handle direct billing to Alberta Blue Cross, ensuring the majority of your care costs are covered without any hassle.

Simplified Care Management:

Say goodbye to the complexities of managing self-directed care. With our program, we handle the hiring and administration of your caregiving team, all supervised by our Registered Nurses.

Freedom to Choose Your Care Provider:

Select the home care provider that best fits your family’s needs, as long as they are approved by Alberta Blue Cross. You are no longer limited to providers based on your location.

Eligibility for the CDHCI program

Reside in Alberta and have a valid health care card.
Complete a home care assessment carried out by AHS.
Have a predictable and consistent level of need for home care services.
Be responsible for any difference between the AHS-funded rate and Bayshore’s hourly rate.
